Blumenthal Does Something Good

As someone who routinely derides Attorney General Dick Blumenthal, I must give him due credit for compelling the people at MySpace.com to release the names and email addresses of known sex offenders.

The announcement today showed 100 Connecticut registered sex offenders were part of the 5,000 names released. With any luck, parents and children will be alerted to this dreadful reality of our Brave New World and take appropriate action.

This was one press conference and subsequent followup that Blumenthal deserves credit for.
